Known as the “Lady of Cathedrals” for its elegance and light-filled interior, Segovia Cathedral was built in the 16th century after the original one was destroyed during the Revolt of the Comuneros in 1521. Its 88-metre-tall tower, intricate stonework and commanding position on the city’s main square make it impossible to miss as you wander through Segovia’s old town.
