Located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley is where you can find Eugene, one of Oregon’s largest cities. Home to the University of Oregon, which boasts more than 23,000 students, Eugene is a vibrant place to stay. Situated along the Willamette River, Eugene is also known for its nature and is nicknamed the ‘Emerald City’ with many hike and bike trails to discover. It’s easy to navigate the city, and you’ll see most people on bikes, because you can bike everywhere! Speaking of sport, you may have heard that this is where Nike was founded - but don’t worry, you don’t have to be sporty to enjoy the city. Its art and culture scene is always on the rise with museums, theatres and galleries to enjoy - or why not check out its buzzing nightlife! You won’t get bored here.
